Девушка в магазинчике и по совместительству в билетной кассе была дружелюбна, внутри было просторно и тихо, скамеечки симпатичны. Сразу скажу, что мы ходили только на выставку Доржиева. И потому скорее о ней, чем о галерее.
Скажу языком школьника: мне понравилось. Точнее даже — мне было приятно на нее сходить. И я знаю почему.
Во-первых, это было любо для глаз: цвета, лица людей. Их можно назвать красивыми, трогательными, хитрыми, милыми. Никаких уродцев, ничего отталкивающего. Мы потому, может, с Катериной хохотали как полоумные.
Во-вторых, мне было легко: до того, как я дошла до стенда с текстом куратора, я сама увидела и сформулировала то, что позже прочитала. В усложненном мире приятно чувствовать, что что-то для тебя — легко и просто, а радость «я сам додумался и понял» в любом мире вдохновляет. Наверняка, как и во всем на свете, там есть более глубокие слои, которые не описаны в коротком тексте и не были увидены мной. Но это очень нравится человеку — понять основные «фишки», будучи от искусства на расстоянии космоса.
В-третьих, умеренность. Умеренность, как бы это… в типах работ, в техниках (они разные, но их мало). И, главное, работ было мало. Это, наверное, комплимент куратору в том числе? Для обывателей вроде меня короткая экспозиция — подарок. Она дает возможность рассмотреть все, несколько раз вернуться. Обсудить увиденное и при этом не умереть от усталости. Когда экспозиция огромна, всегда можно сказать, что необязательно смотреть все. Но многим очень сложно избавиться от ощущения, что ты троечник и балбес. Говоря примитивно, маленькие экспозиции хвалят человека за интерес к прекрасному, большие унижают его за недостаточное рвение. Можно, конечно, сказать иначе: кто боится длинны и сложности, тот дурак и слабак. Но я так не думаю. Я сама крупные формы только в книжках и в еде люблю)
В-четвертых, легко улавливаемая ироничность и некоторая игривость автора. Первая очевидна хотя бы в названиях, вторая — в жонглирование детальками и персонажами: «О, эта девочка была на той картине», «А кошка та же? — А, нет, другая — та полосатая, а эта пятнистая».
В-пятых, вовлечение посетителей. Я бы сказала, что для меня работы Доржиева — с тактильным потенциалом. По короткостриженному затылку хочется провести рукой, кошку дернуть за хвост вслед за девчонкой, голые пятки — пощекотать. Чтобы ветер в в лицо или холодные камни на берегу гладить рукой. Наверное, для меня это было самое ценное в работах — желание войти в этот мир. Искусство далеко не всегда призывает входить. Но когда это происходит — мне нравится. Наверное, в быстром мире чье-то приглашение в коммуникацию ценится высоко.
Ну, и, конечно, остались некоторые размышления.Может быть, тоже детские, но все же. Основной — связанный с национальным колоритом. Глупо задавать вопрос, что будет, если его убрать: как можно убрать из художника то, что для него важно и что часть его сути. И все-таки. Какая доля нашего интереса — это интерес к воплощению бурятского, азиатского. Такая современная национальная живопись. И кроксы со смартфонами это только подчеркивают. Сюда группа вопросов о русской культуре. Она себе такого конька позволить не может. Но почему? Потому что мы ее растеряли, отрезаны, советское победило национальное совсем? Или ее так здорово пытались коммерциализировать в 90-е, что теперь попытки нырнуть в нее в изобразительном искусстве превращаются в свекольнощекую Марфу в сарафане и с самоваром? И каковы перспективы той же бурятской культуры — есть ли у нее риск пойти тем же или похожим путем — со временем? Стереотипизация, сужение.
Почему я про риск. Кажется (я далека от темы, могу ошибаться), что талантливых бурятских художников, которых выставляют, становится все больше (вопрос, почему на земле иркутской не так, попытался обсудить Vadim Melnikov и со мной, но я полный профан: предложила несколько вариантов, но не суть). Можно ли говорить о том, что в каком-то смысле работа с национальным или с видением художником национального идет на экспорт и в какой-то момент начинает делаться на экспорт (в широком смысле слова, конечно)? Если да, то есть ли здесь риски сдвинуть что-то в изображении. Работа художника — это всегда работа на некоторый миф, конечно. Но все же. Для кого он — этот миф. И почему он такой.
Ну, и чтобы лучше проиллюстрировать, почему мне привидился страх и какого мифа не хотелось бы наблюдать. Единственное, что мне не понравилось на выставке и не понравилось совсем — это видео о том, как случаются работы. На фоне бесхитростных (или хитреньких) героев работ видео смотрелось странно, неестественно. Его можно воспринять как маленький художественный фильм, но тогда он слишком картонный, наигранный — от мучений художника до замедленно и как положено падающих листов. Если воспринять как документальный, то он слишком постановочный. Это — воплощение мифа о художнике и его работе. Такое чужое для картин, которые висели вокруг. Такое мертвое рядом с живым. Так мне показалось.
С кем встречаемся в реальности — буду рада поболтать о том, что написала, и еще есть у меня несколько соображений. Писать только лень. А художнику и галерее спасибо за возможность эти соображения получить. Теперь надо добраться до основной экспозиции когда-нибудь)
